Cherry Chocolate Chunk Granola Bars: Makes 36 ( 3 points +)
You can wrap these individually and then freeze them in a large ziplock bag. They only take about an hour to thaw.
Preheat oven to 350 and spray a 13 x 9 pan with cooking spray.
In a large bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, sugar, wheat germ, dry milk, baking soda, salt, oats, chocolate and cherries until blended. Set aside.
In a small bowl, combine the yogurt. applesauce, oil, egg and vanilla.
Gradually add the yogurt mixture to the dry mixture. Stir until blended. Spread in the baking pan and bake for 32-37 minutes or until top and edges are golden. Transfer pan to a wire rack to cool completely. Cut into 36 small bars.

- 1-1/2 c. packed dark brown sugar
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 T. toasted wheat germ
- 2 T. nonfat dry milk
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3-1/2 c. quick cooking oats
- 6 oz. bittersweet chocolate, chopped into chunks
- 1 c. dried tart cherries or cranberries
- 3/4 c. plain FF yogurt
- 2 T. unsweetened applesauce
- 1 T. canola oil
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
