Strawberry Almond Napoleons



Strawberry Almond Napoleons: serves 8 ( 2 points +)


  • 4 sheets frozen phyllo dough, thawed
  • butter flavored cooking spray
  • 4 tsp. sugar
  • 1-1/2 c. Cool Whip Free
  • 24 small, fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/3 c. sliced almonds

Preheat oven to 375. Spray 2 baking sheets with cooking spray.Working quickly, place 1 sheet of phyllo on the counter. Spray with butter flavored cooking spray and sprinkle with 1 tsp. sugar. Repeat, layering with remaining 3 sheets. Cut into 12 squares and then cut each square in half to form 24 triangles. Bake 10 minutes or until golden brown. Cool.When serving, place 1 triangle on a plate. Top with 1 T. Cool Whip and 1 sliced strawberry. Top with another triangle, placing it so that its points are slightly set off from the first triangle. Top with 1 T. Cool Whip and 1 sliced strawberry. Repeat with one more triangle, 1 T. Cool Whip and 1 sliced strawberry. Sprinkle with sliced almonds if desired.Repeat procedure with remaining triangles and toppings.
