Texas Pork Chops



adapted from "Taste of Home's Light Meals"

serves 6 ( 7 points + )
¾ c.  bread crumbs
1-2 T. chili powder
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. garlic powder
1 egg
¼ c. skim milk
6 boneless pork chops ( about 4 oz each)

In a shallow bowl, combine the bread crumbs and spices. In another bowl, combine the egg and milk. Dip chops in egg mixture, then coat in bread crumb mixture. Transfer to a baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350 for 20-30 minutes or until meat is cooked through.

  1. Perfect timing with this recipe. I picked up some sale pork chops yesterday and didn't know what to do with them. This was a simple and tasty recipe. I did sub egg beaters for the egg. Turned out good!

  3. This recipe is so good! It's easy to cook, and if you're cooking for one you can just reduce the amount of pork chops and save the extra breading for next time!
