Chicken Thighs with Sausage

adapted from "Healthy Cooking"
serves 8 (7 points + )
2 medium carrots, chopped
2 celery ribs, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
8 bone-in chicken thighs, skin removed ( about 3 lbs.)
1 package ( 14 oz) smoked turkey kielbasa
¼ c. ketchup
6 garlic cloves, minced
1 T. hot sauce
1 tsp. each of dried basil, paprika adn thyme
½ tsp. oregano
salt and pepper to taste
In a Dutch oven or large pot, place all ingredients. Stir, cover and cook on medium- low for 2-3 hours or until chicken is tender and vegetables are tender.
