Tilapia with Pineapple Salsa

serves 4 ( 1 filet with 1/4 c. salsa = 4 points +)


  • 1 c. chopped, fresh pineapple
  • 2 T. finely chopped onion
  • 2 T. chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1 T. lime juice
  • salt to taste


  • 4 ( 4 oz) tilapia filets
  • 1 T. olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp. cumin
  • 1/4 tsp. chili powder
  • salt to taste

For salsa, combine all ingredients in a medium bowl.
For fish, season with salt, cumin and chili powder. Heat a nonstick skillet coated with spray. Add oil and swirl to coat. Add fish and cook 3 minutes on each side or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
