Fudgy Brownies





serves 20 ( 4 points + )



  • ¾ c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • ½ c. brown sugar
  • ¾ c. cocoa
  • ½ tsp. baking powder
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • ⅓ c. skim milk
  • 6 T. butter, melted
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs



Preheat oven to 350 and spray a 9" square baking pan with nonstick spray.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugars, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Whisk in remaining ingredients. Spread in prepared pan and bake 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out with moist crumbs. Cool and cut into 20 squares.

  1. mine came out more cakey than brownie like. i think its because of the baking powder. i've never seen baking soda or baking powder in a brownie recipe. you don't want them to rise. you want them to be dense and chewy. if i tried this again i would omit the baking powder.

  3. the flavor is delicious. no doubt about that! very moist as well. but more cake then brownie. i want to try again without the baking powder and see how they come out. thanks for the recipe!

  7. I made these too tonight! Like I told you in my post on the caramel brownies I love BROWNIES. I haven't tasted these yet because I'm out of points today lol and I'm worried that if I have one I may not be able to stop. I can't wait till tomorrow cause brownie here I come lol
