Smothered Pepper Steak

Smothered Pepper Steak: serves 4 ( 6 points +)



  • 3 T. flour
  • 4 ( 4 oz) ground sirloin patties
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 ( 16 oz) package frozen bell pepper stir fry
  • 1 ( 14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes with balsamic vinegar, basil and olive oil ( such as Hunt's) undrained
  • 1 T. low sodium soy sauce



Place flour in a shallow dish. Dredge patties in flour. Sprinkle patties with salt and pepper. Cook patties in a large nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray for 3 minutes per side. Add stir fry, tomatoes and soy sauce; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes.
